Dave Fraser
Chief Meteorologist

Dave Fraser is the Associated Press award- winning chief meteorologist of News2 at Nine with twenty years of forecasting experience.

Dave is a member of both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association and holds seals of approval from both organizations. Dave enjoys visiting schools across the Front Range each week as part of News2's "Mile High Skies" program aimed at educating Colorado children about meteorology and science.

Before joining News2, Dave worked as a weather anchor at WXIX-TV (Fox) and WLWT-TV (NBC) in Cincinnati, OH, and network affiliates in Des Moines, IA, Sioux Falls, SD, and Austin, MN.

Dave earned his Bachelor of Science degree in communication from Emerson College in Boston, MA before studying meteorology at Mississippi State University. Dave and his wife Kathy have two sons, Derrick and Ethan.
